This month, we sat down with our C.O.O. & V.P. at Electrical Plus, Sean Rinda! Read on to learn more about his role at Electrical Plus, and his thoughts on what makes our company succeed and continue to grow.
Sean has been the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President since September 2020. The core business responsibilities that Sean oversees include: HR, Marketing, Legal, Finance, IT, Compliance, Risk Management, and General Operations. Day to day activities at Electrical Plus vary by the hour, he says. “I typically start the day with our Crews in the Shop helping to get them out on the road and then I go to my office up the street to work on various initiatives regarding compliance, growth and employee matters”. Sean works behind the scenes to make sure that the company is performing efficiently, growing, and maintaining positive relationships!
When asked why Electrical Plus stands out from competitors, Sean answered that “much of what we do is based on a mission to serve others and treat everyone with honesty and respect”. When it comes to the workplace environment, Sean enjoys that everyday is different and that he is constantly challenged with opportunities to learn and grow along with the company.
Outside of work at Electrical Plus, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife of 24 years and his 16 year old daughter. He enjoys activities such as camping, hiking, and fishing to decompress on the weekends. Sean’s favorite place to visit is the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
To end our interview, Sean left us with a motivational quote, “If you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go as a group”. This quote embodies the team first mentality that is held at Electrical Plus.
