Read on to learn more about our owner, Jeremy, and how Electrical Plus came to be!
Electrical Plus was founded in 2006, almost 15 years ago, by owner, Jeremy Mueller.
It all started with Jeremy working out of his basement with a baby on the way, and now he has 19 employees. His inspiration for creating Electrical Plus began during his time in the U.S. Navy on the USS Seattle as a Hydraulics Mechanic. One of his shipmates during his time in the Navy was an electrician. He extended an invitation for Jeremy to come back and join his company. Jeremy worked with the company for about seven years, where he was able to gain experience and learn more about the industry before having the desire to start his own company. One of his main reasons for starting a company of his own was that he noticed an ongoing problem with how customer service was handled. Jeremy wanted to make a change and stand out from other electricians and companies in the industry. Thus, Electrical Plus was born!
Jeremy believes that the best part of owning his own business is that he can change people’s lives, whether it be his clients or the employees at Electrical Plus. He uses his military experience to help better the company while continuing to be a successful business owner. At the age of 19, Jeremy was a department head responsible for managing people from all different walks of life. His success as a department head permitted him to receive a navy achievement medal for his work. He uses his experience managing in the Navy to aid in managing Electrical Plus. He gives back to the local community and encourages others to do the same. Jeremy serves on boards within the local community and nonprofits, as well as some outside of the community, such as in his hometown in Minnesota!
